Create and manage PDF documents quickly and easily
 
The challenge  We are a top 50 UK law firm and we need a PDF solution that will integrate with our Hummingbird DM document management system and scanners. In addition to creating, managing and sharing PDF format documents, we require a solution that will automate the capture of scanned images as PDF documents and route them to either designated members of staff or directly into Hummingbird DM.

The solution  pdfDOCS Desktop was deployed throughout the firm giving staff the ability to: combine documents from different applications, including scanned images into a single PDF document; annotate documents with notes and comments; and redact confidential information from PDF documents before sending them to third parties. Given pdfDocs Desktop is fully integrated with Hummingbird DM, the creation of PDF documents is easy.  From the right-click menu staff are able to either create a PDF document to email, save to Hummingbird DM or load to pdfDocs Organizer where it can be assembled with other documents and saved back as a new collated document back into Hummingbird DM.
